Under the “Make in India” initiative, Optiemus Electronics has partner‑produced a tempered glass facility in Noida, delivering Corning‑engineered glass for the burgeoning smartphone market. The facility is a landmark move toward self‑reliance in core mobile components, aligning with the ₹11.5 lakh crore electronics manufacturing target and the creation of 2.5 million new jobs.

India’s transport corridor is modernising through the Multi‑Lane Free‑Flow (MLFF) toll system, now operational at Choryasi in Gujarat and set to expand to 25 more locations. The technology leverages FASTag and ANPR cameras to eliminate physical toll booths, improving traffic flow and reducing congestion on the country's busiest highways.

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs, in collaboration with premier institutes such as IIT Delhi and IIIT Hyderabad, released ‘Adi Vaani’, an AI translator incorporating NLLB and IndicTrans2 models. It currently supports Santali, Bhili, Mundari, and Gondi, encouraging linguistic preservation and digital inclusion for tribal communities.

The National e‑Governance Division (NeGD) has woven approximately 2,000 e‑government services across all 36 states and Union Territories onto digital platforms like DigiLocker and e‑District. Maharashtra led with 254 services, followed by Delhi and Karnataka, fostering transparency, convenience, and citizen empowerment.

In a strategic leap, India and Japan inked a Memorandum of Cooperation on critical minerals, deepening research in exploration and deep‑sea mining. The pact, signed by G. Kishan Reddy, fortifies India’s supply chain resilience for clean‑energy technologies and key industrial applications.
