  • More than 150 experts from over 40 countries will deliberate on AI governance, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, and space security.
  • A special emphasis on the Global South seeks to channel emerging technologies toward sustainable development.
  • The GTS Young Ambassadors programme will grant students and early‑career professionals a formal platform in policy discussions.

Detailed Insights

The summit, jointly organized by India’s Ministry of External Affairs and Carnegie India, serves as the nation’s premier forum for geo‑technology dialogue. Over three days, policymakers, industry leaders, scholars, and civil‑society representatives will converge to shape international technology policy.

Adopting the theme "Sambhavna", which translates to "possibilities", the event will explore how cutting‑edge innovations can address global challenges while fostering inclusive growth. Core topics include digital infrastructure expansion, responsible AI governance, data protection frameworks, cybersecurity resilience, and the emerging domain of space security.

More than 40 public sessions—ranging from keynote speeches and ministerial roundtables to expert panels—will feature a roster of 150+ speakers, including delegations from the United States, Japan, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, France, Brazil, United Arab Emirates, and numerous other nations.

A substantial segment of the agenda is devoted to collaboration among Global South nations. Participants will examine joint research initiatives, technology transfer mechanisms, and financing models that can accelerate sustainable innovation in emerging economies.

The inaugural session will be opened by External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, who is expected to underscore India’s role in steering global tech governance and the importance of multilateral cooperation. Concurrently, the Young Ambassadors track will enable students and young professionals to contribute directly to debates on digital futures, responsible AI, and international tech norms.
